Halloween was so fun this year, we went to a party dressed as pirates and had a blast! We went to another party and Ronnie was the scream guy and I went as a hippie...Halloween is definitely one of my favorite holidays!

Cakes, Cakes, Cakes

A couple of years ago I took a cake decorating class...I don't like to bake and I really don't like cake, so I'm not sure what possessed me to do this, but I have had fun! Here are a couple of my favorites!

New Things!

Ronnie and I are complete opposites when it comes to fun...when you look fun up in my dictionary, this is how it is defined. Fun adj. shopping, scrapbooking, crafts, country music, traveling, parties, money, a new pair of jeans that makes your butt look super cute, pedicures, hair, nails, make-up, not cooking, not cleaning...(the list goes on and on). Ronnie's definition is much different. Fun adj. hunting, golfing, shooting, playing guitar (ok, that one is kind of fun), camping, farting, anything but country music, working on cars, not shopping (ever ever ever), anything outdoors, roller blading and anything else tha
t is dirty, greasy and gross. Since we started dating, we've had to compromise a little...here are a few things that he's talked me into! He took me to Yellowstone last year to become "one with nature"...it seemed to go pretty good!

For the last several years, Ronnie has tried to teach me to golf...I'm not very good, but dang I sure look good trying :)

Here I am shooting a gun for the first time...watch out everyone!

There is one thing that we both seem to agree is fun...see if you can guess what it is!

No matter how opposite we are we know that our differences are what attracts us to each other!

Lindsay-From the Beginning

Now about me, Lindsay Jean Owen! I was born in Aurora, Colorado, the only one of my siblings to be born outside of Arizona...my dad used to tell me that the air must be thinner in Colorado...(whatever that means!) I am the second oldest in my family...I have an older brother, two younger brothers, and two younger sisters...a house full! My mom tells me that my older brother, Logan was the perfect child until I came along...apparently I got into everything and taught him to do the same. I pretty much grew up in Arizona (a lot of different towns), but when I was getting ready to go into high school, my dad felt in necessary to move us to Salmon, Idaho (I know what you're thinking-why Salmon? I have no idea...ask my dad!) My dad was the principal of my High School, which may sound kind of rough, but there are definitely more positives than negatives to being a principal's daughter...everyone knew who my dad was, and to this day I think that I've gotten out of at least 4 speeding tickets! Thanks Dad! After HS I moved with my family (yes another move) to Idaho Falls and that is where I met Ronnie at church, for him it was love at first sight, but for me, I had to take a second glance before I was convinced, at the time I kind of had my eye on someone else, so I am definitely grateful for Ronnie's persistance! Ronnie and I dated for 4 years and had soooo much fun together during that time! He makes me laugh like no one else can...I love him for that.

Ronnie-From the Beginning

Since I've never blogged before, I thought I would tell a little bit about us...I'll start with Ronnie! Ronald Del Thinnes Jr is the fourth of five children (all boys, except for 4 girls). He was born in Ogden Utah, lived in Missouri for a little while when he was younger, but for the most part-he's and Idaho boy! Since Ronnie was the only boy, he and his dad were very close and spent a lot of time together, from his dad, Ronnie got his adventurous spirit, his "I can fix that" attitude, and oh yeah-how can I forget...his love for cars...(thanks a lot Ron!) Ronnie currently has 6 cars...4 of them are "projects" but I try to be patient because I know that it is something that he loves.

From his mom, Anna, Ronnie got his nurturing side...she is very patient and softspoken and I am so thankful that she taught him these things. Ronnie is the most patient person that I know, which works out great for me because I require A LOT of patients! I just hope that Ronnie knows how much he means to me, he keeps me focused on the things that are most important in life and I am so thankful everyday that our circumstances allowed us to find each other at just the right time...he definitely brings out the good in me, I couldn't have wished for anyone better! Love You Hottie!
